Stradbroke Youth Football Club are looking for coaches for the 2024-25 season.

They would like to start up an U7s team to go along with their current teams that will be U9s and U13s next season.

They are also on the lookout for a second coach for their U9s team and happy to look at other age groups too including U11s.

Capel Plough FC are looking for a new coach for their current Under-14s (U15s 2024-25 season). 

They have several parents happy to assist but none able to step up to the main role. The current coach is in place until the end of season. He is also willing to continue to help with some training/matches if required. 

Winter training is at The Colchester Sports Park on a Monday evening, 6pm-7pm (if able to find alternative winter training venue/night change would be considered). Evening training during BST is at Capel St Mary Playing Field.

The team play in the Suffolk Youth Saturday Morning League, Division Five. They are a good bunch of hard working, keen to learn players with a good attitude. A small number of new players incoming with a new coach would be considered. 

A coaching qualification is desirable but not essential, and all required courses will be funded by the club. 

The new coach will be supported by the Junior Section Manager and Child Welfare Officer to settle into the new role. 

Club events are held throughout the year. 

There is a pathway available to play for the club’s adult teams.

Capel Plough FC are currently in a bidding process with the Football Foundation for a new floodlit 3G pitch.

Elmswell FC first team, who play in SIL Division Two, are looking for a new manager/management team for next season.

Ideally, they are seeking a person or people with some experience managing at this level to take the club forward.

As well as a large squad between the club’s two teams (the Reserves play in Division Six), the club have great parish facilities and pitch and are hopeful for more improvements to come in the near future.

University of Suffolk Students' Union are looking for a new football coach.

The university currently have a men’s team who play in the BUCS league and are also looking to begin a women’s social team, with the potential of entering BUCS in the future. 

Initially this would be for two one-hour sessions per week on Monday and Friday evenings.

They are hoping to have someone in place for the women’s social session beginning on Friday, April 12th from 5pm-6pm; however, the start date of the men’s sessions will be September. Predominantly term-time only.

The university are either looking for one person for both sessions or multiple if this was more suitable. Minimum Level 1 qualification required.

Some key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Lead engaging training sessions.
  • Develop player skills and teamwork.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive environment.


Pay: £25 per hour

Location: Inspire, Ipswich.

Then what about joining Stowupland Falcons Football Club as a manager for the men's 'A' team?

The role will involve the weekly management and organisation for fixtures, regular attendance at training and working alongside other club managers.

The 'A' team will provide a valuable pathway from youth football and part of the position will be ensuring that players are identified and transitioned into the senior section of the club when appropriate.

It would ideally suit someone in an adult team, although someone looking to step up from youth football would also be encouraged to apply.

Enthusiasm, commitment and reliability are key.

Due to a change in circumstances, AFC Kesgrave are now recruiting for a Reserve Team Manager for their side who play in Division Three of the Suffolk & Ipswich League on a Saturday afternoon.

Working closely with the First Team (Division One) and A Team (Division Five) management teams, the club are looking for someone who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the role along with a focus on developing the younger players.

They train as an adult section on a Wednesday evening on the 3G at Kesgrave High School and play their home games at Ipswich School Sports Centre, Rushmere which is one of the best playing surfaces and facilities in the area.

The 'A' team has proven to provide a valuable pathway from Youth football for the club’s junior sides and part of the position will be ensuring that players are identified and transitioned into the Senior section of the club at the earliest opportunity.

You should have existing management and coaching experience within a grassroots club ideally in an adult team though someone looking to step up from Youth football would also be encouraged to apply.

 The person should have a willingness to contribute to training sessions and have input on tactics and team selection in addition to assisting the first-team manager with all the necessary tasks involved with running an Anglian Combination League team.

Experience is desirable but not essential.

Coaching badges are also desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
