This is a national campaign which will be running from Monday, November 6th to Sunday, November 12th.
The campaign is aimed at raising the profile of female football and supporting the aim of doubling the number of girls’ and women playing football by 2020.
During FA Girls’ Football Week the whole country gears up to encourage football activities for females which can including playing, training or even just learning more about the beautiful game.
Below are some documents to help you plan your own activities.
Clubs and organisations are encouraged to register any on-going activities as part of the week, or to start something brand new to kick-start girls’ football within girls’ football week.
The week is a great opportunity to showcase female football at every level and inspire new players and volunteers.
In Suffolk, there are a number of activities taking place, with SSE Wildcats sessions taking place in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill and Lowestoft.
