Haven Power extend sponsorship of MNF
HAVEN Power have agreed to extend their sponsorship of Suffolk FA for a fifth year.
The partnership, which was formed prior to the 2014-15 season, sees Haven Power continue to sponsor the Monday Night Football League run by Suffolk FA in Ipswich.
The Ipswich-based electricity and energy services provider also continues to enter a team in the league.
Suffolk FA Senior Football Development Officer Darren Scoulding said the sponsorship makes a real difference.
“The league wouldn’t be a success without Haven Power’s support. Partnering with a well-known local business gives the league credibility, as the teams taking part know it’s well run and administered.”
Suffolk FA, which is the governing body for grassroots football in the county, has renewed its renewable electricity supply contract with Haven Power.
The deal ensures that Suffolk FA’s offices use 100% renewable electricity, reflecting the organisation’s desire to reduce carbon emissions and reach its sustainability targets.
The ongoing relationship also supports Haven Power’s purpose: to inspire change in energy use and help make sustainability second nature.
Darren Scoulding added: “We’re eager to reduce our carbon emissions and help protect the environment - and this partnership allows us to do just that.”
Paul Sheffield, Chief Operating Officer at Haven Power, said: “Helping Suffolk FA to achieve its sustainability goals is a great example of everything that Haven Power stands for.
“It demonstrates our purpose and the way we work closely with our customers to help them reach their goals. An added bonus is that we get to support grassroots football in our local community; just one of the ways we get involved with local people and support the Ipswich area.”
