THE date has been set for this season’s Suffolk Champions Charity Cup.

Needham Market FC will face Trimley Red Devils FC in the match on Tuesday, July 30th at Bloomfields, home of Needham Market FC, kick-off 7.45pm.

The Suffolk Champions Charity Cup is contested annually between the winners of the Endeavour Automotive Suffolk Premier Cup and the CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup.

Needham Market won the Suffolk Premier Cup for the fourth season in a row when they defeated Felixstowe & Walton United 2-0 in last season’s final at Bury Town FC.

Trimley Red Devils lifted the Suffolk Senior Cup for the first time in their history when they won 2-0 in the 2023-24 final versus Leiston U23s. Trimley players are pictured above celebrating one of their goals in the final at Portman Road.

Proceeds from the match, including ticket sales, will go to the British Heart Foundation.

Tickets can be purchased on the night at the turnstile but payment will be by card only.

The date for the Champions Charity Shield between Thurston, winners of last season’s Parkers Pitches Suffolk Junior Cup, and McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup winners Redgrave Rangers has still to be confirmed.
