Have your say on Suffolk football
HAVE your say on grassroots football in Suffolk – and you could win a £50 voucher.
As we looked forward to the 2024-28 strategic cycle, Suffolk FA asked for feedback from the game.
The responses received, including during the face-to-face consultation sessions, were used to develop the Suffolk FA 2024-28 business strategy – ‘Driving the Local Game’.
This was done in conjunction with The FA who, at the same time, launched the aligned national grassroots strategy.
Beyond 2028, the forecast is for the game to continue to grow and expand, with more players of all ages, genders, and backgrounds wanting to play the game.
Clearly the forecast growth is to be embraced but does pose challenges in how the game continues to be supported, promoted, governed, connected, and resourced.
The FA and the County FA network are now embarking on a wider consultation, facilitated by an independent research company, exploring how future growth projections can be realised.

The responses will be used to help shape the future of the game we all love.
The survey will be available until Friday, November 22nd, and is applicable to anyone involved in grassroots football – league officials, club officials, coaches, volunteers, match officials, players, parents, and anyone else with a love of the game. The only restriction is that survey respondents must be over 18.
Those who do complete the survey will be eligible to win one of ten £50 Amazon gift vouchers.
