U18 Midweek Cup is returning next week
THE Veo Suffolk Under-18 Midweek Cup returns with seven ties next week.
Lakenheath entertain Sporting 87 in the first tie on Tuesday and six more follow on Thursday.
These include a derby between Waveney and Kirkley & Pakefield, while Felixstowe & Walton United entertain Leiston in a re-match of their 2020-21 semi-final meeting that Leiston won 6-0 at Framlingham Town FC.
Neither of last season’s finalists – Haverhill Rovers and Bury Town – are involved in the first round having receive a bye, but the two losing semi-finalists do play.
Walsham-le-Willows, who lost 1-0 to eventual winners Haverhill Rovers in the last four, face a trip to Whitton United.
AFC Sudbury, who lost 2-1 to runners-up Bury Town are not in action until next week when they travel to Woodbridge Town on Thursday, October 24th, the same night as Haverhill Borough entertain Needham Market.
