THE draw has taken place for the first round of this season’s Veo Suffolk Under-18 Midweek Cup.

Stowmarket Town will host Ipswich Town Under-16s in one of nine first-round ties to be played next month.

A total of 25 teams have entered this season’s competition, with Haverhill Rovers and Bury Town, who they beat 3-2 in last season’s final, among seven sides to receive first-round byes.

Byes: AFC Royals, Brantham Athletic, Bungay Town, Bury Town, Haverhill Rovers, Ipswich Wanderers, Lowestoft Town.
