RICHARD and Jenny Bugg are again supporting the Suffolk FA Youth Council for the 2024-25 season.

Through R Bugg Trading Ltd they have sponsored the Youth Council and its predecessor the Suffolk FA Football Futures programme since the 2016-17 season.

The Suffolk FA Youth Council are a team of young people aged between 16-25 made up of individuals from all different roles within football from across the county who are the voice of the Youth within Suffolk.

They are provided the autonomy to come up with their own ideas and suggestions to make a difference within the county.

 Richard Bugg said: “It’s been a delight to work with so many resourceful young people over the years to bring football to the county.”

 Suffolk FA Youth Council Chair Maddie Gardiner said: “The Youth Council are extremely grateful for the continued ongoing support of Richard and Jenny.

“This sponsorship allows us to put our ideas into action and provides us with the support to make a difference within the county.

“Their support enabled us to run our first-ever competition at the Suffolk FA Grassroots Festival, with Salvation Army U9s winning a voucher to take the whole team to a teambuilding activity.”

“We plan on using this support to create a networking event to support our future plans and the youth community in Suffolk and from this we plan on running a youth day to allow everyone opportunities to get involved within football.”

Richard and Jenny attended the Youth Council’s most recent meeting, which was held at Portman Road and dedicated to social media content and filming, going through the social media calendar in detail to engage with the county.

Maddie added: “Richard and Jenny are highly supportive of our work and regularly attend meetings and discuss updates to adequately provide support for the Youth Council, so it is nice to see them integrated within our work and so supportive of us.”
