TWO of the remaining three Parkers Pitches Suffolk Junior Cup Quarter-Final spots are up for grabs on Saturday.

AFC Kesgrave, Cockfield United, Redgrave Rangers and Woolverstone United are taking part in two of the third-round ties that were postponed before Christmas.

Redgrave Rangers, the holders of the McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup and who lead Division Two of the Gateway 14 SIL with 11 wins and one draw from 12 matches, host AFC Kesgrave.

The 2022-23 winners, who bowed out of the competition at this stage last season, currently sit in third place in Division One of the SIL.

Their interest in last season’s competition came to an end thanks to a 3-1 defeat at eventual runners-up Woolverstone United, who welcome Cockfield United to the Shotley peninsula in the other scheduled tie.

Woolverstone occupy 11th place in SIL Division One – two positions and three points behind Cockfield United. Woolverstone United (blue shirts) are pictured during their 7-4 victory over Clare Town (yellow & black shirts) in round two last November.

The outstanding third-round tie between Beccles Caxton and Exning United is set to be played a week on Saturday.
