EIGHT Suffolk match officials have received mid-season promotions.

Isabel Chaplin, who was recently promoted to the 2025 FIFA International Assistant Referee List, has been promoted to the National Group of Assistant Referees.

Dan Barrack and Sam Bell (pictured above) have been promoted Step 5/6 Referees and Step 3/4 Assistant Referees.

Suffolk FA Referee Development Officer Ben Bowles said: “The Suffolk FA refereeing department and I would like to commend all the match officials on their milestone on their refereeing journey.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our mentor and observing cohort that support all our referees on a weekly basis with their knowledge, experience, expertise and guidance.”

The promotions are as follows:

Promotion to National Group of Assistant Referees: Isabel Chaplin

Promotion to Step 5/6 Referee & Step 3/4 Assistant Referee: Dan Barrack & Sam Bell

Promotion to Level 6 County Referee: David Barrett, James Bowell, Oliver Burle & Ian Evans

Promotion to Y2 Referee: Michael Howlett
