The Suffolk FA Youth Referees' Academy operates within the safe and nurturing environment of Ipswich Town FC's Academy structure supported by highly skilled Referee Coaches who provide in-game support.

Referee feedback is tracked and received by each referee to allow for bespoke training and support to be offered to each match official.

By being part of the Youth Referees' Academy, officials experience working as both a Referee and an Assistant Referee in order to give a more rounded development pathway to prepare them thoroughly for future matches.

As part of being an Academy Official, high-standards and expectations are placed on the referees.

This is to ensure that the quality of performance improves consistently throughout their time within the group. Officials are also expected to operate within the confines of Youth Football within Suffolk in matches appointed by Suffolk FA.
