ARRANGEMENTS have been confirmed for the funeral service of Suffolk FA President Gordon Blake.

The service will take place at Ipswich Crematorium in Cemetery Lane, just off Colchester Road, Ipswich on Thursday, November 21st at 1.15pm.

Everyone is then welcome to attend the Wake at Greshams Sports Club.

Private flowers only are requested.

Donations on the day can be made to Ipswich Operatic Society and McMillian Nurses or c/o Farthing Funeral Service.

Gordon passed away aged 88 on Saturday, November 2nd at the nursing home in Woodbridge where he had been looked after for several years.

To mark his contribution to football in Suffolk, all clubs are asked to hold a minute’s silence in any game between Monday, November 18th and Sunday, November 24th.
