How to become a Wildcats Centre

APPLICATIONS are now open for partners to deliver Wildcats Centres in Suffolk.

APPLICATIONS are now open for partners to deliver Wildcats Centres in Suffolk.

If you want to help grow the female game, you can get involved and join the 21 Wildcat Centres currently being delivered in Suffolk.

New applications to be a part of The FA Wildcats Programme in Suffolk are now being accepted.

Wildcat Centres are a key part of The FA’s commitment to doubling Women’s and Girls’ football participation.

What is a Wildcats Centre?

A Wildcats Centre is an opportunity for girls aged 5-11 to have fun, develop fundamental skills, try a variety of sessions and lay the foundations for a life-long love of sport.

Sessions are delivered by qualified coaches on a weekly basis, either after school, during an evening or at weekends.

There is also the opportunity to apply for the delivery of disability specific Wildcats centres. These centres would specifically cater to young players with disabilities and special educational needs.

For all of those participating, the aim is simple – have fun, make friends and play football.

How do I get involved?

In the first instance, make contact with Rebecca Bolton, Suffolk FA Girls & Women’s Football Development Officer on 01449 616606 or via email rebecca.bolton@suffolkfa.com

Read through the FA Wildcats centre guidance notes and ensure that your club / organisation meets the criteria and if you do why not then apply.
