THE FA will be running a four-part podcast series on Money Matters, starting on Wednesday.

The podcasts will explore ways in which clubs and leagues can gain a better understanding of finances and ways in which to manage money.

They will be available for download each week as follows:

• July 8th – An introduction to club finance. Begin to gain an understanding of accounts and how to ask the appropriate questions at your next club or league committee meeting.  
• July 15th – Ways in which to manage your money. Exploring the main responsibilities when it comes to managing money as well as the valuable internal controls which can be used to support this.

• July 22nd – How to work best within the budgets you have. Understand how you can prepare and review budgets with confidence and work within your club or leagues means.

• July 29th – Understanding different taxes. An overview of the different taxes and where to find further information on these taxes.

Individuals will be required to sign up to the relevant podcasts, where they will be sent directly to them at 8pm each week.
