THE venue for the 2019-20 Suffolk Veterans’ Cup has been confirmed as Ipswich Wanderers FC.

Whitton United will take on Woodbridge Town at Humber Doucy Lane on Sunday, October 4th, kick-off 2.30pm.

Holders Whitton United beat Bury Town 4-0 in their semi-final, while Woodbridge Town overcame Cockfield United 6-0 in their last-four tie earlier this month.

The final, which has likewise been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, is a repeat of the meeting between the two teams in the 2018-19 final.

On that occasion Whitton United beat Woodbridge Town 4-1 on ‘Super Sunday’ at Needham Market FC.
