Framlingham to host Cup Final
FRAMLINGHAM Town FC will host this season’s McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup Final.
The final will be played at Badingham Road (pictured above) on Saturday, June 5th, with a 2.30pm kick-off.
Framlingham Town FC Chairman Dean Warner said: “With lockdowns and restrictions hopefully behind us for good and grassroots football being played once again, having two invitations to host Suffolk FA Cup Semi-Finals at Badingham Road in the last week has been great PR for the club.
“And now to have been invited to host the Suffolk Primary Cup Final a week on Saturday will be a greater honour and we look forward to working with Suffolk FA to make it a successful day for everyone involved.
“Good luck to both teams who reach the final.”
Framlingham staged the Blue Square Solutions Suffolk Boys’ Under-18 Midweek Cup Semi-Final between Leiston and Felixstowe & Walton United last Tuesday.
The club also hosted the HomeStore Self Storage Suffolk Women’s Cup Semi-Final between Bungay Town and Ipswich Town on Sunday.
The McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup Semi-Finals are taking place on Saturday.
Walsham-le-Willows B meet Laxfield at Old Newton United FC and FC Whitehorse face Bramford United at Claydon FC. Both matches kick-off at 2.30pm.
