MH Goals Ltd are the new sponsors of the Suffolk Women’s Cup.

The Beccles-based football goals and sports equipment manufacturers are a long-term partner of Suffolk FA, but this will be the first time they have sponsored a county cup.

Matt Harrod, sales Director of MH Goals Ltd, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the Suffolk Women’s Cup for the 2022-23 season, but especially so in the light of England Lionesses’ success at the European Championships.

“The profile of women’s football in this country has never been higher and this will only increase in the coming months and years.

“The standard of women’s football is only going to get better and we look forward to there being some well-contested ties in this season’s competition.

“As a Suffolk business we have always been keen to support our local County FA and look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship in the coming season.”

Suffolk FA Chief Executive Richard Neal said: “I’m delighted we’re continuing our relationship with MH Goals, particularly as supporters of the Suffolk Women’s Cup.

The 2021-22 Suffolk Women’s Cup Final was a fantastic competition, culminating in a tremendous final held under the lights at Colchester United FC, and with the support of MH Goals we look forward to even better in 2022-23, especially with the inclusion of a number of new teams starting this season.”

AFC Sudbury are the current holders of the cup, after defeating Needham Market 3-1 in last season’s final at Colchester United FC to win the competition for the second time. The first-round draw for this season's competition will take place later this month.

MH Goals Ltd offer 20 per cent discount on goals to all Suffolk FA affiliated clubs, with additional discounts of £10, £50 and £100 for orders over £100, £500 and £1,000 respectively.
