Penalties required to decide three ties
THREE second-round ties were settled on penalties in the Portable Space Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup on Saturday.
Lakenheath U23s and East Bergholt United Reserves shared six goals, before the visitors won 4-3 on penalties.

The third tie to go to penalties saw Waveney Reserves go through 5-4 following a goalless draw with Ransomes Sports Reserves.
Holders Stowmarket Town U23s edged past Walsham-le-Willows U23s 3-2, with Mutford & Wrentham Reserves winning by the same scoreline at Haughley United Reserves.
There will be no final appearance for Beccles Town Reserves this season. After appearing in four finals in the last five seasons, losing on each occasion, Beccles were beaten 4-1 at home by Kirkley & Parkfield U23s.
There were good away wins for Lowestoft Town U23s (7-1 at Cornard United Reserves) and Brantham Athletic U23s (5-0 at Sporting 87 Reserves), while the day’s biggest winners were Haverhill Rovers U23s, who defeated Old Newton United Reserves 9-1.
The draw for the third round will be announced later this week.
