Whitton get home draw in Senior Cup
WHITTON United have been handed a home draw in the quarter-finals of this season’s CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup.
The Ipswich-based side, who are enjoying a much-improved season than last in Division One North of the Thurlow Nunn League, will welcome Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination League Premier Division side Bungay Town.
Mutford & Wrentham, newcomers to the competition this season, will have to knock-out holders Trimley Red Devils if they are to progress to the last four.
There’s an all-Macron SIL Senior Division meeting between Tattingstone United and Haughley United, while Leiston U23s, losing finalists twice in the last three seasons, will have to overcome SIL defending champions Henley Athletic to reach the semi-finals.
